Participate 4.1.1 Digital Rights and Responsibilities

Outline a plan for responsible digital use

• Before account is issued on school network students and parents but sign and agree to the use of the account with the school AUP.
• Before the student can become a member of my classroom they and their parents must  agree to the terms and conditions of the Class Contract. No grades will be issued until this is done
• First unit in classroom is the Cyber NetSmartz  unit that teaches the dangers of the net and how to stay safe. Students and their parents must create and sign agreement about how they are going to stay cyber safe.
• Second unit is on Copyright law - Students and their parents must sign the Academic honestly contract.
• Passwords must be changed every 6 months
• Review with students each quarter Cyber Security and Academic Honesty policy
